Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and AirPLAi Sports Inc. ("AirPLAi," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using any part of the AirPLAi platform, including PLAi Ground, PLAi Maker, PLAi Chat, and any associated services, tools, mobile applications, or APIs (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to individual users, league operators, team administrators, and other visitors or contributors.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization (such as a league, team, or company), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service.

User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. When you do, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
- Maintain only one account per individual (unless authorized for organizational use)
- Notify AirPLAi Sports immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or disable accounts that appear to contain inaccurate information, are being used in violation of these Terms, or have been inactive for an extended period.
Age and Youth Sports
The Service is not intended for independently operated accounts by children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the authorization of a parent, guardian, school, team, league, or other responsible organization.
Organizations and uploaders are responsible for obtaining the notices, permissions, and consents required for people who appear in their content, including youth athletes. We may request proof of authorization, limit access, remove content, or suspend an account when we believe those permissions are absent.
Content You Upload
The Service allows you to upload video footage and other content ("User Content"). This section explains how your content is handled and what rights you grant to AirPLAi Sports.
Ownership
You retain full ownership of any User Content you upload to the Service. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your raw footage or original content to AirPLAi Sports.
Your Representations
By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal right to upload the content (you filmed it, own it, or have explicit authorization from the content owner)
- You have obtained any necessary permissions from the league, team, venue, or organization associated with the footage
- The content does not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
- You have obtained all necessary notices, permissions, and consents for the recording, upload, processing, sharing, and model-improvement uses described in these Terms
- The content consists of legitimate sports game footage and related materials
License to AirPLAi
By uploading User Content, you grant AirPLAi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, store, reproduce, analyze, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service. This includes generating statistics, highlights, analytics, player tracking data, and searchable metadata from your footage. We do not use your content in public advertising or marketing without separate permission.
AI and Machine Learning
To continuously improve our technology and deliver better results for all users, you also grant AirPLAi the right to use uploaded content, annotations, prompts, searches, feedback, and data derived from your content to develop, train, test, evaluate, improve, and operate machine learning models and AI systems. This includes computer vision models for player detection and tracking, action and event recognition, sports analytics models, and related AI technologies.
We may pseudonymize or de-identify usage information where reasonably practicable and combine it with information from other users. Video and participant data cannot always be made anonymous. If a written agreement with your organization limits model-training use, that agreement controls.
Derivative Works
AirPLAi Sports may generate derivative works from your User Content, including but not limited to game statistics, box scores, player performance metrics, highlight clips, and analytical reports. These derivative works may be used as part of the Service, shared with authorized users within your organization, or incorporated into aggregated, anonymized datasets.
Acceptable Use
We want to keep AirPLAi a productive and respectful environment for everyone. When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to share or that you are not authorized to distribute
- Upload content that is not related to sports (the Service is designed for game footage and related materials)
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract any proprietary algorithms, models, or source code from the Service
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform without written permission
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals or allow others to access the Service through your account
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable burden on the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access controls, usage limits, or security measures
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without written authorization
We reserve the right to investigate potential violations and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating accounts.
Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. It is part of these Terms.
- Account information: We collect information you provide during registration, such as your name, email address, and organizational affiliation.
- Usage data: We collect analytics and operational information about your interaction with the Service, including features used, search queries, session information, and diagnostic logs.
- Uploaded content: Video footage, participant information, and related data may be stored and processed on Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Third-party services: We use service providers for hosting, storage, AI capabilities, analytics, transactional email, payments, security, and support.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Please read our Privacy Policy for details about organizations, participant data, youth sports, retention, and your privacy choices.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, branding, source code, algorithms, machine learning models, user interface, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by AirPLAi Sports and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Specifically, AirPLAi Sports retains all rights to:
- The AirPLAi platform, PLAi Ground, PLAi Chat, and all associated branding, logos, and trademarks
- All computer vision models, AI systems, algorithms, and proprietary technology
- Analytics, statistics, and insights generated by the Service (as derivative works of the processing pipeline, distinct from your raw footage)
- The structure, organization, and presentation of data within the platform
As noted in Section 04, you retain ownership of your raw footage and original User Content. The analytical outputs, statistics, and derivative works generated by the Service from your content may be used by both you (within the Service) and AirPLAi Sports (for platform improvement, aggregated insights, and related purposes).
Subscription and Payments
Certain features of the Service may be offered on a subscription or per-event basis. If you purchase a paid plan:
- You agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan)
- Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or as otherwise stated in a separate agreement
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days notice before the start of your next billing cycle
If payment fails or your account falls into arrears, we may suspend access to paid features until the outstanding balance is resolved. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any suspension.
Enterprise and custom pricing arrangements are governed by separate agreements between AirPLAi Sports and the subscribing organization.
Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:
- You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
- AirPLAi Sports may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the platform, or if we are required to do so by law.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Account deletion and retention are governed by the Privacy Policy. Content already published to a league or organization, submission history, operational logs, backup copies, de-identified or aggregated information, and trained model parameters may remain as described there.
Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including Sections 05 (Content You Upload), 08 (Intellectual Property), 11 (Disclaimers), 12 (Limitation of Liability), and 13 (Indemnification).
Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to deliver accurate and reliable results, we want to be transparent about certain limitations:
- Accuracy: Statistics, analytics, player tracking, and other outputs generated by the Service are produced by AI and computer vision systems. While we strive for high accuracy, these results may contain errors and should not be treated as official or certified statistics.
- Availability: We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.
- Beta features: Some features may be labeled as beta, experimental, or early access. These features are provided for testing and feedback purposes and may not perform as expected.
- Video quality: The quality of analytics and outputs depends on the quality of the uploaded footage. Poor camera angles, low resolution, or obstructed views may affect results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AirPLAi Sports disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AirPLAi Sports and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
In no event shall the total liability of AirPLAi Sports exceed the amount you have paid to AirPLAi Sports in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AirPLAi Sports and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms, including a breach of your representations about permissions, privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice (such as an email notification or an in-app banner)
- Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. If you disagree with any changes, your remedy is to stop using the Service and request account deletion.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
General Terms
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any applicable written order form or customer agreement are the entire agreement between you and AirPLAi regarding the Service. If there is a conflict, the written customer agreement controls. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
