How to film & upload

Camera setup

  • iPhone or any modern smartphone with a clean lens and stable mount.
  • Record at 720p or 1080p. Skip 4K so uploads finish faster and process reliably.
  • 7 to 10 feet above the court on a tall tripod, light stand, or elevated bleacher seat.
  • Sideline at center court, full court visible in frame, jersey numbers readable without zoom.
  • Phone on Do Not Disturb or Airplane Mode, fully charged or plugged in.

Recording

  • Start recording 10 to 15 seconds before tip-off so the first possession is captured.
  • Record the entire game in one continuous take. No stopping during timeouts or breaks.
  • Keep the camera steady. Avoid touching it unless something clearly shifts.
  • If the game goes to overtime, keep recording through the final whistle and handshake line.

Upload to PLAi Ground

  • After you register above, we'll share your PLAi Ground login and access code.
  • Upload over Wi-Fi when possible. Faster and more reliable than cellular.
  • Fill every field on the upload form: League (GBA), Season, Game Date, Home Team, Away Team.
  • Wait for the progress bar to hit 100%. Don't close the tab or lock your phone until it finishes.
